What we will be doing together....
As you’ve heard us say before “Time is Money”, so let's jump right in!
This Wage Control Course has 5 Modules. Each Module will contain anywhere from five to ten "components". Some will be a video component or PDF, and some will be screen share videos where we walk you through Excel spreadsheets, step-by-step.
Every 7 days a new Module will be released to you so that you don't get too ahead of yourself.
Some Modules will be more involved than others, but again they are all equally important and in an order to help take control of your Wage Costs.
We'll start out with Module 1: Importance of Wages where we'll discuss the importance of wages, how they will define your team, your business, and your profit. Yeah, we'll talk about money, but we'll also talk about people, structure and culture. You'll discover that how you spend your wages will define your business.
In Module 2, True Wage Cost, we'll explain what your true wage cost is. That hourly or weekly salary you pay out is just a tip of the iceberg. You'll be surprised at all the hidden costs that steal your profit.
Moving onto Module 3, we'll define your Wage Margins for your business. Right now, bad news, you probably won't like your margins, sorry, but good news, you'll have the tools to fix them fast. If you practice what you preach, your profits will increase forever.
Now in Module 4, another layer of controls is set in place by Managing Wages. We'll leverage your new forecasting skills and show you how to easily manage your wages to your forecast every day, week, and month of the year.
Now, you'll have some big decisions to make, but that's okay. Now that you're forecasting sales, you have the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make those decisions.
In our final Module 5, we’ll review Performance Based Compensation. We'll discuss the magic of performance-based compensation. Your staff will share your drive to succeed and make money. We'll show your employees how they can add hundreds of dollars to each paycheck, and you'll see how that's a good thing. We'll also share successful incentive programs to drive performance and profit. Now, these are simple real programs that we used and they work. Some you can start tomorrow, others may take a couple weeks to implement, but you'll get the programs, the forms, examples, the whole shebang, and soon you'll be creating your own programs. Performance based compensation could become the cornerstone of your business' culture.
In each Module, you'll be creating something for your business, something manageable and worthwhile. Mostly we're putting tangible systems in place and each Module will be a step that will help you right away.
The important thing is to just focus on the current step, that's all. And then in a few weeks you'll have traveled light years. You'll learn the fingertip controls that helped us control our business, develop our staff and helped us break our micromanaging habits, ....well, mostly.
By the end of the Forecasting Your Future Program, you'll be in a great position to make sound spending decisions and be able to manage your Cost of Goods, Wages and Overhead Expenses in REAL TIME! And that will drive profit.
You'll have the structure needed for growth, staff development and owner flexibility. It took us about four years to refine these systems for florists, so remember to take it one step at a time and one Module at a time.
